DBS seeks to continue its work among those effected by leprosy, as it has from the foundation of DBS. Accordingly, every month DBS provides medical financial relief to those suffering from leprosy. Every Sunday, DBS also conducts a well attended prayer service for the residents of the colony. On Easter and Christmas, blankets and other gifts are distributed, and DBS helps to organize various national and religious festivals to bring some joy to the life of the colony.
